Psa 5:11 But let all those that put their trust in thee rejoice: let them ever shout for joy, because thou defendest them: let them also that love thy name be joyful in thee.

Nancy;

Thank you for your presentation. I am always amazed at the length the Lord has gone to show is wonderful plan of redemptive love for us. From cover to cover the Bible tells us a love story. We are so richly blessed to have the Lord take us by the hand and lead us into his plans for us. He revealed all his plans through his Jewish people and then allowed all men to join into the promises he made to them. Praise Yeshua in the highest. Is this Shabbat coming the day we will celebrate this feast? I would love to see your Temple all decked out in flowers. I am excited to see how we will celebrate this day which God has ordained as a symbol of both Law and Grace.

I did not get the chance to study Ruth as I had hoped. I look forward to reading it again and to speak with you further. I need to get to bed as it has been a very busy week. Looking forward to Shabbat service tomorrow evening. I need the rest. Our Rabbi calls Shabbat an Island in time. It certainly is the highlight of my week.

Thank you again. You are a blessing to the body. I enjoy learning of the Jewish roots of my faith. I look forward to hearing more.

God bless you in His Son Yeshua HaMashiach, our lord and our savior Jesus Christ - DLL

Nancy,

>>Another interesting detail I found in these Feast is that everyone was required to attend and have joy as a command, this included all Aliens. What an awesome God, He has always persued all people but had a plan that required Israel to be seperate and that is still the case. <<

If I asked you the reason God chose Israel what would you say? Did Israel fulfill it's purpose? Was Israel chosen for its greatness or because it was the "least" so that God's power might be shown?

Thanks for your reply

God Bless,

dan

Donald,
God also requires us to give abundantly to the poor on Shavout so it is a time of giving to anyone you know needs anything you can give. In Leviticus 19 God says to leave some grapes behind when you harvest them for the poor to eat. Then He says, then you will be Holy as I am Holy. WOW! feeding the poor makes you Holy or set apart from the rest of the world and a living example of who He is. Also, the Holiday is even more joyous when we see the poor find some relief and rest from their burdens. May He be Praised as we enter into His great time of Harvest and joy,
Nancy
