>>But you can't avoid the question: Why did Bush and Reagan do it? Why did Clinton approve them for everyone else? Hmmm??? Beuller?

Ridiculous, as you always are. They never overruled the rest of government to fulfill a political payoff as Clinton did.

to derail the criminal investigation of Loral's illegal actions.

Which makes absolutely no sense whatsoever-- the investigation has not been derailed. Furthermore, Loral's actions were not illegal, but merely, unadvised.

Makes total sense, as Justice warned Clinton against his action. And if Loral's prior action was not at least potentially illegal, there would be no criminal investigation would there?

Seems even the Dems in Congress have left you and your sophistry behind.

If you are gonna keep playing the dunce, at least try being amiable.

Regarding whether turning over the report was illegal, as you are fond of posting since this is a matter of law (even though the statute is clear) you are merely stating an opinion. JLA

<<But you can't avoid the question: Why did Bush and Reagan do it?>>

Confused again? Bush and Reagan did NOT grant the waiver in question. Clinton, the current President of the U.S, granted the waiver in question. Bush and Reagan had nothing to do with it. They are not the current President.

If you don't believe me, check your history books. You will find that Reagan has not been president since January 1989 and Bush has not been president since January 1993.

Clinton is the president. Check your history books. Clinton granted the waiver being investigated. It was not granted by any other past president. Check your history books if you don't believe me.

But don't ask me to do your research for you.
