Stephen, Re: >"I really am not that upset since INTC has rewarded me nicely in the last few years...it's just those in-between years when it goes thru a major transition(Merced-'99) that it frustrates us,"<

If I may add my two cents worth. Frustration often is a indication the end is near either for the investor or the cause of the investor's frustration. Look at all of the tech stocks that were up yesterday, CSCO, IBM, MSFT, DELL, HWP, CPQ, disk drive manufacturers and semi equipment manufacturers etc. Intel did not join in. What is so terrible about Intel?

Yes I know the FTC case. Well MSFT been there doing that (it's up). Oh yea the Asian slowdown and PC demand and inventory channel etc. Well HWP, CPQ been there doing that (their up) besides DELL and Gateway seeing improvement and their strictly Intel inside (both up).

So what gives?? Anybody!
