Alex,

Thanks again. I new that there was something I didn't understand between video over the internet and what you call "broadcast quality video." I'm not sure how much the Netstream product will be needed for video over the internet until cable modems are everywhere, and that could be years!

Did anyone catch the large buying spree at the end of today? Threw us all the way to 4 1/4. Maybe something is going to happen on Monday?

Hello all,

Question for anyone and everyone...

Is SIGM the only company that makes its own decoder board and decoder chip for DVD-Roms? Cube only makes chips, right? I don't think Zoran makes decoder boards either. Diamond and Chromatic only makes boards, right? These companies team up with others to supply complete solutions.

If SIGM is the only company to make a combined product, will this enable us to undercut the competition because of lower costs to produce as opposed to outsourcing? It sure would be nice to be the low cost producer in the market...

News... Looks like SIGM signed a good VP of Marketing. Formerly worked for Diamond, National Semiconductor, and Intel. What happened to the old VP of Marketing?
