Yes, daytraders.org has the info you need to get connected. I don't know what you are doing wrong in your connection, but there are over 600 people in the chat room these days(when the market is open), so obviously you are not getting to the right place. Follow the instruction on the web page and that should get you there, I find that people are signed on at all hours, but obviously the highest number during market hours.
