OK, the weather here in Upstate NY has been perfect -- sunny, 60-70 (a little warmer today, though). Of course, we pay the piper for 6 months every year. Here's my APM theory -- the shorts cover some shares to push the stock up a point or so, getting everyone excited that they can make a quick 10, 20, maybe even 30% by going long, and driving the stock up another couple of points. Then the shorts come back and drive the price down. Hey, that's what I would do if I had the brains and the bucks.
