BUCKY89, I fully agree with your statement that the Cascade products are far superior in design, reliability and debug capability. Cascade always used previous generation designs and code and enhanced it hence carried forward years of expertise and problem solving with known gremlins rather than dealing with entirely new ones. Its a strategy which works in any technology field but its very important in networking where there are always older pieces of equipment somewhere and have to be compatible.
I can reiterate only again that the confidence I sensed in the Ascend top brass at the annual shareholder meeting was very different compared to their stance 6-9 months ago.

That was a well-written response, and full of clear ideas (not necessarily right). I would be interested to hear more about your background as you appear to know a hell of a lot about ATM/FR/routers. Keep posting your thoughts.

I'd like to hear more about ASND's products and management than about whether we are going to close at 50 or 40 this week.
