Hi Frank. Thanks again for wishing me a nice trip. The market was behaving fairly well despite those down turns, so I kept my eyes off it and did some of the stuff that has to be done when you are away for a week. But shortly before the market closed, Cnbc reported those noises from your part of the country. This Philadelphia FED guy made remarks about an interest rate hike. I think I heard that he was the one who wanted a rate hike last time and was out voted. So I don't know why the market should pay any attention to him. I personally think that lower interest rates are in order. Housing came down. The last thing we need now is an interest hike. Bears would love it though.

Intel certainly is keeping a low profile. Now they are not coming out with Merced until mid 2000. I sure hope that I will be still around when this event finally happens. gg. The market is not looking too kindly on this turn of events. I think we can call ourselves
year long + suffering Intel shareholders and unless something exciting happens with the company, we may be in the same boat a bit longer.

I read that your write-up an DESTINY was good. At least you have something to keep your mind off Intel at this time. It looks like it will be a while before we will be going on a cruise or a beach party. Well, maybe I am too pessimistic. Maybe Intel will have a great pre-announcement. Some Viagra though could be in order to get Intel's stock up in a hurry. gg.

I guess I'll better read all the posts now.
