Maxwell, P2 even worse that this:<K6-2-300 CAN DO 1.3GFLOPS while PII-400 DO 400MFLOPS>

P2 can only do 400 MFLOPS if it ONLY ADDs and SUBTRACTs. With multiplies its limited to 200 MFLOPS. Pretty sick, huh.

Could you comment on the importance of 1.2 Gigaflops? Why is K6-2 still lagging behind in FPU if 1.2 Gigaflop is 4 times faster than P-II's 0.4 Gigaflops? Shouldn't K6-2 be 4 times as faster as P-II in terms of FPU performance?

Given the same frequency of operation, of course,
