Ron,

I am pondering the same question regarding oil stocks.

Have you ever used the Motley Fool's PEG measurement? It factors earnings growth into the analysis and produces a very different sort than just PE. For example, TDW has an attractive PE of 7 versus 13 for PTEN, but the Fool's PEG formula shows PTEN to be a much better buy due to projected growth.

Another thing I ponder is, which segment of the oil industry will benefit most from a future oil price reversal? Drillers? Equipment? Transportation? Refiners?

Or, do we just forget about all this stuff and buy everything related to oil because it's so oversold?

MDCO is another oil gem, easy 10 points from here when oil goes back to 16 area.
