Anyone care to give their opinion on the price movement for CSCO for the next few weeks? I am curious to know if the stock follows any logic.

With the "first week of the month dressing up" I suspect it might go to 80 and then by options expiration it might be around 77 again. I am working on a model that looks at the price a few weeks before the options expiration, factors in any pending news releases and calculates the trading range. I would love anyone's opinion on the theory. If interested, I'll forward the details.

Edward,

I posted the comment that Bucky responded to. Responding to his comment is useless I've come to realize that about the ASND thread. You see, as much as I like ASND (the stock) the folks on that thread are very ASNDrick. Bucky's comments are interesting but I can assure you that every ISP and every Telco and every CableCo, etc. are not considering only ASND. Furthmore many carriers look to the way Cisco handled that situation AT&T and that stuck with them. Carriers like a company that will take the arrows for them.

Note that ASND has had it's failures too. The AOL network for instance. They pointed to Cisco for a few weeks, then denied it was them. In the end the bug was an ASND bug. So, for the folks on the ASND thread to claim that their S#(#t don't stink is nutty. Every vendor will be faced with an equipment failure, what will differentiate them will be how they handle it.

Oh, one more thing. I'll back up my comments. I'll bet you and/or Bucky (you can post this to him), that Cisco/Stratacom will announce more than one major service provider win this summer. If the folks on the ASND thread actually believe that CSCO isn't serious about taking ASND out then I believe they're in for a big surprise. Now, Cisco may not succeed, but CSCO will win it's fair share of service provider wins.

I have heard a lot of good things about ASND from the ISPs and a lot of bad things about COMS. CISCO is still viewed, by a lot of ISPs as too expensive. Great products, but too rich for their low dollar blood.

Our CISCO sales to Corporate America are way up, and moving up quickly.
