They dusted the cobwebs off the Ancor homepage and updated it today (the last update was May 14). The only thing that looks different to me is a new GEA logo that at the time of this post is not functional.

I did just scan a Sun book on optimizing their servers. They had abundant FC references and an academic approach to I/O and configuring systems. The book stated that by the end of 1998 fibre channel would probably be the storage interface of choice. This is the book (it costs $45 at Barnes and Noble):
