Pete: A most excellent post. But do you really think Rillinois gives a "tinker's damn" about anybody other than himself and his own self-promotion <g>?

Good Point

<< If you like UTEK as an investment, tell us the reasons why (don't blame a messenger!). If you hate UTEK as an investment, tell us why.>>

Good Point, Pete. This forum is best used to debate the merits on particular issues anything else is "white noise."

PETE from STAMFORD, CT:

Who died and made it your responsibility to save all investors from Brinker's individual stock recommendations ??

I've never thought it was my "responsibility to save all investors from Brinker's individual stock recommendations". This is your interpretation and opinion only.

If you have opinions about real issues, I'm interested. But your posts are ALL open or subtle personal attacks designed to show Brinker has been wrong about this stock or that stock.

PETE from STAMFORD, CT, if you are not interested in my posts, then don't respond to them. Many people have shown an interest in my posts and have asked me to continue. Besides, I don't believe you have the authority to decide what does and doesn't get posted on the internet. This isn't China, is it?<g>

And as far as ALL my posts being "open or subtle personal attacks designed to show Brinker has been wrong about this stock or that stock". You too are showing how selective your reading comprehension is. I have written many good things about Bob, and in fact, you once wrote your support for my positive views regarding Bob:

Message 3675429

...Gee, how quickly we forget. So what gives, PETE from STAMFORD, CT? Why the sudden change in your attitude? Am I all of sudden being black-listed because I have said nothing short of the truth regarding Bob's stock picks? Does the truth hurt? Am I going to be accepted by you if, and only if, I post favorable things about Bob? I am not this vicious person that Justa makes me out to be. I am just interested in posting factual information for future investors to ponder when "CHOOSING" whether or not to follow Bob's next stock recommendation.

Hey, I guess if anything we now know that according to Don Lane we should disregard all future appearances and recommendations by Bob on NBR because what he says in that forum is not to be taken seriously if it's not in the newsletter. Go figure that logic.<g> This sounds like those broker ratings; buy, strong buy, "recommended list", "priority list", "global priority list", etc. I guess NBR recommendations would be the equivalent of "recommended list" and newsletter recommendations would be like "priority list". <g> Why can't a "buy" just be a "buy"? Is it because if it goes up then "Bob's great", and if it goes down, then "hey, it was only an idea, we're responsible for our own actions"? What crap...

Most of us take responsibility for acting on Brinker's recommendations and accept the consequences. We take responsibility for doing our own homework on Brinker's recommendations before buying such stocks.

Interesting. So it's, "thank the heavens for Bob giving us MSFT and VOD...we couldn't of done it without you", but if you bought a loser like UTEK, STII, ONTK, KMAG, etc., then "it's nobodies fault but your own...you should have done your homework". This sounds like a self-esteem problem.<g>

If your going to beat up on yourself for buying the losers, why is it that you don't give yourself credit for buying the winners? I don't get it.

Only a fool would buy a Brinker stock recommendation on blind faith.

Well, I guess you must think there are a lot of fools out there. How many times have you heard this call?

Caller: Hey, Bob, I bought MSFT a ways back and....

Bob: When did you buy MSFT?

Caller: Well, maybe 6 or 7 years ago, but my question is...

Bob: Well, congratulations on picking a winner, you picked a great stock.

Caller: Well, I only bought it because of you Bob.

No homework there, PETE from STAMFORD, CT. Just pure, blind faith.

Personally, I don't give a tinker's damn about any statistics you gather and post here or anyplace else if such data project a personal attack. If the data supports a real issue, I'm interested.

Well, PETE from STAMFORD, CT, if you don't want to hear the truth, I can't force you to accept it. Go back into your Bob Brinker heaven and suppress all my facts and truths deep into your subconscious. Most people would say that isn't healthy, but hey Brinker is worth it, right? I guess there are people who still refuse to believe the "Big Bang" and that man evolved from the ape. All because the "data projects a personal attack" on their beliefs and they could "give a tinker's damn about any statistics" that some scientists gathers.

If you like UTEK as an investment, tell us the reasons why (don't blame a messenger!). If you hate UTEK as an investment, tell us why.

For the nth time, I have no position in UTEK. But if I could borrow your thought for a second, I am simply stating facts, Don't blame the messenger! It's not my fault that Bob thought UTEK was a good FORMULA TRADE in July and his single best purchase in October.

Use your valuable life energy to get yourself informed about real issues and express your opinion on them,

I thought that was what I was doing??? I am very informed about Bob's recommendations and I am expressing my views and the facts to support my views.

rather than obsessing over saving investors from Brinker's stock picks. We can save ourselves, thank you!

Again, that is not my mission. This is your opinion of what I am doing, sorry!

Best Regards.

R

** OT ** Pete: Let me apologize for Rillinois' tirade. You have to understand that towards the end of the month people like Rillinois run out of medication. You see he is waiting for the next disability check to hit his mailbox early in June. He will feel better then when he can pay for that prescription.

Now do you see the consequences of ever complimenting Rillinois on anything? Your post is taken out of context and then put in your face.
