N.O. :

You seem the happy optimist today! I hope you are right.

Please note management must have known of this shortfall at least four to six weeks back. It is already May 29 and there are only four or so weeks left in this quarter. TFS is not a hamburger stand where product ordered at 12:07 is delivered at 12:13. That inventory build up in Q1 is still hanging around waiting to be produced. Even with all that inventory ready to go, they have to know several weeks in advance what they are going to produce. Heck, they have to ship the glass half way around the world to finish it up and then back to deliver it and count it as a sale.

Looks to me as though they made the decision not to break the bad news until after the show.

Next question: MOT. Are they ever going to get their act together with digital gear? They are now about two years behind their competition. They are still messing around. Meanwhile, everywhere I look I see Sony, Nokia, etc.... Does anyone care if MOT ever get into the digital game? Distributors have had two years to learn to like other suppliers. What is MOT going to do to unseat these now entrenched relationships. In the Valley here a lot of early tee times are going to MOT employees. My friend who builds houses says that when he works on a house for a MOT employee, they seem to spend more time on the job site than at the company. Looks to me as though they have gone all slack.

Yes, I am pretty mad at these guys. They have stockholders a fortune in oportunities lost. I think they have been horrible for the value of the stock I own. They, I am sure feel otherwise, but the great impartial arbiter ... the market ... is rendering its opinion very clearly.
