Ian, something occurred to me to ask. Your last paragraph made me wonder if the difficulty of manufacture means that ETEC's technology is almost at the end of the line in terms of capability? If so, how serious are the implications for that company as well as those that use its products. In fact, I wonder if the ETEC price is responding to the "relaxation" of specs from .15 to .18, almost as much as the poorer earnings outlook - in that it may signify that ETEC is at the end of the road. What do you think?

Re: "These tools seem to be very high precision, very difficult to manufacture, test, debug and install in production."

If I was going to purchase such a tool, I would perceive "very high precision" as a definite positive. I would not care whether the tool was "very difficult to manufacture," except to the extent that the "difficulty" impacts the tool's price and availability. However, I would not like the idea of purchasing a tool that is difficult to "test, debug, and install in production," since delays in these activities could negatively impact my total system installation schedule, the amount of effort required by my staff, and my overall project cost.

Do the difficulties you mention make purchase of the Ultrabeam V2000 too much of a gamble?

Best wishes,

I2
