<<Can you say "big bloated east coast legacy heirarchy developing products on telco time vs. lean, mean, entrepreneurial silicon valley company developing products on internet time"? >>

Sure can, MU. But five years, ten years, twenty years from now, from an investment perspective, what's going to matter more than anything to me about LU vs. CSCO is going to be how well my investment in the company's stock performed. To me, that's the big "$64,000,000,000 Question". For the long haul, which company is positioning itself better to profit in the future? LU's breadth gives me a lean to LU. Full disclosure: I have an interest in both companies. ...Tim

MU,

The CSCO you know and love today may not exist tomorrow. They are fully aware of the changing dynamics of the industry and know they need to do something. CEO in recent interview stated that serious discussions with LU were broken off about two months ago and that he currently talking to NORTEL (possible alliance/merger?).

Never say always in the tech business, it just moves too fast.

I have positions in both companies. Holding CSCO, buying LU.

MU Lation, Bashing others' investment choices serves no useful
purpose, and is inappropriate.

Suggest you use you head, evaluate logical reasons for owning
either, or both companies; and then hang on tight, and enjoy
the bright future.

Regards,
Mardy
