Say what?? I think this is definitely premature. I hope, for everyone's sake they don't dare ask the IMF for help. Their debt problems aren't even close to IMF rescue package levels. I have never heard the words "IMF and Japan" in the same sentence, ever. I have heard "IMF and Japan funding it" together. But not taking from it. Sorry if the debt articles I posted lead you believe they were in this much trouble.

PS Japan is home to 5 of the top 10 banks in the world (by market cap)! Better hope they don't go to the IMF for help.
