I think you might argue that especially in terms of software development and technical expertise, India is not so far from being a "tech powerhouse," though there are serious difficulties in exporting the expertise (another topic for another time). I was referring to India as a technology market. In that respect I think the direct impact will be minimal (indirect again no so clear, at least not to me).
