FISPAC TREASURER APPREHENDED Loachapoka, AL--(COPPER WIRE)--May 28, 1998--Authorities here announced the apprehension of FISPAC treasurer Chris G in a local motel lobby. Mr. G has been charged with passing unauthorized FISPAC checks. Contacted by phone, T. Hicks, President of FISPAC, stated "the management of FISPAC is totally shocked by these events. We already begun working with an auditing firm to determine the extent of the problem." In an unrelated story, Mr. Phil Calvanelli, Immediate Past President of FISPAC, was found beaten, robbed and incoherent in a local motel room. Mr. Hicks stated, "This also is a total shock to us. We understand that the perpetrators also did extensive damage to the motel room. We sincerely hope that local law enforcement can prevent this type of thing from happening again and wish Mr. Calvinelli a speedy recovery. This is truly a tragedy."
