this theory of the jump by third world countries since they are not saddled by current copper wires, has failed to materialize. this argument has been put forth for years, ignoring corruption, and costs, technological know how, ... that is required for all this new technology.

if you notice, those with the technology continues to add to the technology and grow, things do not stagnate.

Daniel- are you referring to my favorite little known networking/ fiber company?

Anyway, I'm loosing optimism on COMS. By butt hurts! Ow!

Joe, please sell. Anything! I'm beggin' you. I've lost all my ill-gotten gains from trading coms below $30 last time, and I'm partial to black ink! Ow!

Guys...I see a little (unknowing I'm sure) US prejudice.

The rest of the world does not consist entirely of 3rd world
countries. I was thinking
of Europe and other countries that are somewhat
developed...<gg- gotcha>

Europe in particular, I think will soon get INTERNET fever and get
addicted to it.
