Bankers Trust analyst lowers earnings estimate:

cbs.marketwatch.com

From CBS Marketwatch:

Texas Instruments seen missing Q2 views

Texas Instruments Inc. (TXN) traded lower after Bankers Trust Alex. Brown lowered
its earnings estimates. Analyst Erika Klauer said the company is likely to miss the
second quarter consensus estimate of 44 cents a share, due to accelerating dynamic
random access memory price declines. DRAM composes 14 percent of Texas
Instruments' business. Klauer said 64 megabit DRAM prices have fallen to between
$8.00 and $8.50, but may fall below $7.00 by summer. Klauer cited slowing demand
from PC makers and a rash of new factories for the most recent price declines. Klauer
cut TI's second-quarter estimate to 40 cents a share from 44 cents, and lowered her
1998 view to $1.95 from $2.20. TI shares dropped 1 to 51 3/4.

lisa,..Re:<<Tick/Trin data on Quote.com>>

Generally, any signal preceded by $ is real time data. So it is my understanding that all data in the top right box are real time and have confirmed most of it via BMI here.
