Could have been the downdraft. Could be there's news that hasn't been publicized yet. Could be that there's strong competition in the automotive flywheel arena. If they're getting wacked in the flywheel area, then the stock is dropping for the wrong reasons. SatCon is actually moving much more quickly into other revenue producing areas...ie. this pr.

Regulators

CAMBRIDGE, Mass.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--June 2, 1998--SatCon Technology Corporation(R)(Nasdaq:
SATC - news), today announced that its subsidiary, Film Microelectronics, Inc. (FMI),reached an agreement
with Falcon Electronics, Inc. of Huntington, New York. Effective immediately, Falcon will begin stocking FMI's linear regulator product line for military and aerospace original equipment manufacturers OEMs). The Company anticipates this agreement will result in more than $2 million in sales over the next 12 to 18 months.

''The agreement with Falcon Electronics is another step in our strategy of bringing products to the commercial market in volume,'' said David Eisenhaure, President and Chief Executive Officer. ''Since announcing the linear regulator product line in January, we have received Defense Supply Center-Columbus (DSCC) certification, thus providing our product with national visibility to its end users: engineers and designers. The agreement with Falcon includes all present and future products manufactured to DSCC standards by FMI. Linear voltage regulators are widely used in applications ranging from high-reliability military and aerospace power supplies to medical instrumentation. The product line is specifically geared towards systems that require precise regulation of switching power supplies. The Company believes that its new line of linear regulators is the most thermally efficient in the industry.

FMI is the only manufacturer to offer this line of isolated linear regulators manufactured without the use of hazardous beryllium oxide (BeO).
