Hows the investment in INTC holding up?

Your net worth is sinking! 71 and change. Doesn't look too good.

That's not nice. Kicking a man when he is down! What's your poison?
AMD? NSM? Not too hot either, are they? Intel is ('all things considered') THE best company
in the world. They have taken some decisions(which have turned
out to be mistakes in retrospect). However,
they have a long line of innovations in the pipeline, a proven
earning track record, awesome management, a HUGE market. If
you jump in for the long haul, you shall do well for yourself. Me,
I WANT intc to go down some more, so I can sell my stock options,
cash out my 401K, mortgage my house and buy intel.

Fiondella - Re: "Hows the investment in INTC holding up?"

It's holding up pretty good!

It sure beats taking a >$100,000 LOSS in Novell and being short Microsoft at $73.50.

I take it you closed out your Intel shorts on the way up to add to your losses!

You always could pick them, couldn't you?

Paul

Maybe not - but I'll bet you know what it looks like since you have been there so long.

Hey Mr. Fiondella I would like to take a crack at you this one time.
Since I realize you abhorred people who do not use real names I will choose one for this communicate. Stu Ped that's how I currently feel for investing in Intel.

Since you seem to be a short term investor I have one question for your experience, what do you think the next move the FED will make with short term interest rates?

If you ignore this posting I will understand that to mean you truly don't know.
