BMFM -

April has been an OK month for me. Made a few bucks shorting junky stocks like PNDA CFON and ZITL.

" I cannot put 100% in cash, otherwise what else
can I live for everyday."

If you want some chuckles, take a look at some of the threads I've been posting on recently. Sure beats taking life and the market too seriously. 'Double Zero' is especially funny if you like satire.

BMFM,

Sorry for losing 25% in the past month. Can you tell me how you lost money--by long or short?

I am currently heavily invested in defensive issues (MO, RN etc), grabbing dividends and premiums by writing covered calls. My portfolio was up a mere 20% the past month and I will be glad for a 10% gain for June (I expect the tech issues having another 5% correction).

I expect that the bulls take full charge since late June. We should see market making new highs in August.

good luck,
larry!

The house of cards look like its about to collapse. Russia needs money. IMF doesn't want to give money. Why? Becuse they don't have any. Brazil and S Korea own 40% of Russia's soverign debt, Japan owns 40% of Aisa's debt. Russia collapses, Western Europe panics, Brazil collapses, S Korea collapses, Japan collapses. When Rubin & Co. are willing to let foreign goods flood into our market from Japan increasing our trade balance you know we're in trouble. Rubin figures Japan can export their way out of trouble, they can't. I'm diging the bear shelter now and am keeping some cold ones on ice for you.
