Mark,
I tend to agree with the gentleman who responded to you. Writing bug free code from design is a myth. I have been doing it myself for the past 12 years and as much as I consider myself a good programmer I always expect to find some bugs during integration and system testing. As code matures the number or bugs is reduced, it is normally much more difficult to fix newly introduced bugs.

I also would like to emphasize to you both that bug free code is not necessarily a good code.

The design certainly helps to architect good code.

Back to ODI's discussion. I still believe that the company is the strongest leader in the OODBMS arena. As a C++/Objectstore consultant I can only tell you that the demand for people with our skill set is overwhelming which indicates to me a true breakthrough. Corporate America is finally accepting and adapting the technology.

I still candidly recommend everyone to stay on it. Wall Street will wake up soon since in the field we certainly see increased activity.
