Well-just so I won't be accused of frivolous posting even though it is Friday and cocktail hour, I'll take this opportunity to announce the findings of my recently completed scientific study on The Importance of Kitty Litter.
Extensive and in-depth interviewing resulted in the following statistically valid conclusions based on a population of 6 or 8 or something. ( p=5 6 or 7 if I count myself m=2 or 3, f=2, cats=2)
Kitty litter is very important to owners and apparently cats, too, although they were less vocal in their responses. A full report with statistical charts and stuff can be purchased by e-mailing me and enclosing a credit card number, I'll briefly summarize here:

Some will work and some won't,
Some smell, and some don't,
Some cost a lot, some are cheap,
Some you throw out, some you keep.
Some will be peed in but you'll never find dumps,
Some turn to sawdust and some become clumps.
But the best of them all, so modest, so homely,
Is that Camelot of litter, the incredible Paws Only.

(THe Author is a highly qualified kitty litter user who has studied cats and their habits for years. She once entered a contest she saw on a box of Purina Cat Chow, writing a paragraph entitled, "The Day My Cat Turpentine Threw up on My Daddy's Golf Clubs". She didn't win. She has conducted many studies on lots of things since that time.
