Does anyone have a link to any articles dealing with the new Sony/Qualcomm factory being built in Tijuana? I have not seen mention of it on this thread, but read about it in a Merrill Lynch report. Thanks, Brian

To Surfer Mike: You are getting the picture. Having dealt with the French a bit, and been around in the Caribbean some, the point is that Guadalope is rpt is metropolitan France - just happens to be a distance over water to it. Your camels nose under the tent analogy is right on IMO. Politics and culture are controlling in pure French style on this one IMO. I read this as of major significance in cracking Europe. [After all that island is France - not rpt not a colony - or any lesser appendage than a Paris suburb - legally and much more importantly - in French eyes] Don't know the legal fine lines here but could be the island is technically part of the European Common Market - camels nose indeed.
