It's just that I thought with Unix or Linux she could be completely free of the Microsoft monopoly.

BTW, DR-DOS is now OpenDOS from Caldera. I don't believe IBM OS2 has a license to run the new Windows, but I could be wrong. In any event, both require some flavor of Windows or incorporate Windows to access the World Wide Web.

Macintosh is an excellent suggestion.

I do hope you and Father Terrence won't think to harshly of me, but for me to say that I am no fan of Bill Gates and Microsoft is putting it in the kindest way I can. Oh well, nobody's perfect.
