Christine: I believe the vast majority of people want good. Many of them are sold a bill of goods on what "good" is because they cannot define it themselves. I also believe a significant number of people who aspire to government positions are malevolent. They are the ultimate parasites living off those who create the wealth they drain and targeting the reintroduction of that stolen wealth back into society in such a way that it increases their personal power. Medicare was never a "good idea gone bad" as some apologists say, it was a bad idea from the very beginning. No one has a "right" to health care because this immediately places an economic and moral lien on other individuals and enforces it by force which IS a violation of their rights. You are arguing that it is alright to violate other's rights as long as yours are not violated and/or you may personally benefit from the violation of their rights in some way. This is immoral. FT FT
