Australia internet growth is impressive.One Million Australians Surf The Internet From Home CANBERRA, AUSTRALIA, 1998 MAY 28 (NB) -- By Martyn Williams, Newsbytes. The number of Australians accessing the Internet from home reached one million in February 1998, according to data released by the Australian Bureau of Statistics. The research also showed a further 1.3 million people accessed the network from work and 1.5 million from other locations, such as libraries and a friend's house.
