Allan,

There's a commercial in the Bull's game, so I'll address the points raised by your anonymous benefactor. :-) Cymer's Orion model, to be introduced in Q3, will be a 2KHz KrF laser. Komatsu has not launched a laser operating at this frequency. As far as bandwith goes, the 5010 has a better bandwith spec than the only model of Komatus laser for which there is information available <0.6pm vs <0.65pm. I don't know what Komatsu's costs or ASPs are, but the little info I've seen shows they are trying to sell them at a discount to Cymer. Here's about the only info you'll find on Komatsu on the net:
komatsu.co.jp

BTW, did this anonymous person spell it Kamatsu[sic] instead of Komatsu. This may tell you something. I'd love to have a chat with this guy. He must be short a ton of Cymer to be emailing out such nonsense.

Cheers and have a nice weekend,

Bob

PS Hope the Bulls can end it tonight!
