Hi Raja S.,

I noticed you asked on the DELL thread if you should sell your CPQ and buy DELL. To be frank, Sig's response was wrong if not down right misleading. Read his post again. Does any of it actually ring true?

Like most people over there (but not all), he has no clue as to what the other pc makers are really doing. Finally, reread his Dell "positives." Are any of these based on any sort of fundamentals? In the end, do what you want. Dell is a good company, yet at least you deserve to be properly informed about your investments. I'm sure if you stick around here and ask questions you'll learn a lot more about Compaq and probably Dell.

Just last month people on the DELL thread were bashing Compaq for selling a sub-$1000 computer (or as they call it - sub zero). They claimed Dell would never sell that sort of garbage. Well, so much for their knowledge. Dell will soon sell a sub-$1000.

PS- The reason why I'm posting here instead of the DELL thread is that if I posted there I would receive so much hate mail from them. I'm tired of that crap. Most of them think DELL is a hot air ballon that will go up, up and away.
