R. Gates ...

I cannot believe the company would intentionally keep the price of the stock down. I happen to know they are just as exasperated as we are. But I also know that what you are hinting at is stock manipulation... and that is most definitely not legal. Whether it be market makers, shorters, or the whim of the market that is keeping the price down, I do not know. But I do know, as you do, that the direction is up. After enough news filters out, the financials come out, and revenues increase quarter to quarter ... the final outcome will be a stock price that more accurately reflects its worth. Its a tough road to climb, but we will all be glad we had our hiking boots on!

Dave,

Just for my education (really), how are you so sure that MM's won't control the price of a stock within certain bounds for a company?

Aren't there such a thing as "friendly MM's"? Why would it be unreasonable to think that MM's might be tight on raising the ask for a stock if they wanted to keep it from going up too fast...

It really seems like you have some knowledge of this dynamics, and I would like to understand it better than I thought I had. I will gladly state on the thread a complete retraction of my assertions if you can fill me in on your knowledge of MM/Company dynamics. (especially in regards to BB's)

I really thought my analysis WAS PLAUSABLE! For many different reasons.

Looking forward to your reply!
