Yes, there are such things as "FRIENDLY MM'S". There is nothing that says a MM has to raise the ask...that is not illegal (please someone correct me if I'm wrong). If you watch the spread, between the ask and the bid, you can get a good sense for how the MM's expect the action to go. The tighter the spread, the less the action. When TSIS sits at .58 x .59 and gets several buys at market, if the market we're loose, and unrestrained, you'd expect the ask to go to .60. R My conjecture about TSIS looking to hold the stock in a certain range my very well be pure BS, as some kind souls have stated, though I think that some others who are more astute observers of market action know that there may be some truth to what I say (thanks Juanita). But I would hope that no one on this thread is so naive as to think that stocks are not manipulated by companies (through MM's) all the time. Let's face it, if the market were really open, each one of us could simply place our bids and ask on an open electronic board without any MM's involved at all. That would be a true open market. Who knows, with the Internet, perhaps some day that could happen. No more MM's. Just place what you want to buy or sell a stock for, no matter how low or high. Everyone in the world can see it via the internet. No MM's to act as "breaks" or stops, or anything. It would be wild, but it would be free of manipulation. But, in the meantime, as we all scratch our heads trying to figure out why in the %&*& TSIS isn't breaking loose, I guess the important thing is that we keep up this kind of conversation, and stay together as a "TSIS Family", and try not to attack each other. Let's disagree but do it in a friendly manner. TSIS is going higher in June. Someone has wanted to keep it lower until now, but the key fundamentals are changing. The million share short or any shorts will be blown out of the water this month, so if they haven't covered their short position when TSIS was sitting at .51 or .52 they will be in deep sh--.
