get the lastest symbol file from equis.. then go to INDICES and look for the respective nasdaq adv/decl..

What data provider do you use? In Quotes Plus, the Nasdaq Advances and Declines are !NQ-A and !NQ-D. To create a composite: Open Metastock and hit Tools, then The Downloader. In the Downloader, go to File, then New, then Composite. Find the folder where you have !NQ-A and !NQ-D (or whatever they're called by your data service). Next to Operation, put Add or Subtract, depending on the composite you're creating. Hit Primary and find !NQ-A. Hit Secondary and find !NQ-D. Give the new security composite a name, such as Nasadvdec. Hit OK. Brooke
