TO: ALL This is 3rd Printing of an original telephone conversation with Dr. H. It is reported again for informational purposes only. Lest we forget! Tuesday, Jun 10 1997 8:51 PM ET 2ND Printing. Here is a copy of a telephone conversation that a good friend had, recently, with Dr Hirschman. The conversation was brief and to the point. Dr. Shalom Z. Hirschman gave my friend permission to share this conversation and his comments with our friends on SI. Here are his comments: "Thank you for your loyal support of the company. I want you to know that Advanced Viral is a new company, with new management! Up until now, I have been going it alone. That is going to change, very soon" Dr H said. I asked him if he meant from the business end, or from the science end. He replied, "both"! He stated that the ads in "Science Magazine" were very successful, with a huge response. Dr H continued: "The information that is on the Internet is a rehash of 'old news' from the 'old company'. There seems to be a concerted effort to SHORT the shares of ADVR, right now. The Market Makers who are in a short position, will wish they never were! The Internet will have no effect on, what is, or will be happening to this company, at the present, or in the future." Dr H continued: "There is no comparison to the 'new company' and the 'old company'. We are on the right track, and every new announcement that is released in the future will be a peg in the ladder of success for the company; and you as a shareholder will benefit over time". He said that his primary goal right now is to: "build a strong management team, establish a strong science team, and most importantly, to increase SHAREHOLDER'S EQUITY"! Dr H further stated: "All of the information regarding past performance, of ADVR, should be put to bed, once and for all. This is a 'new company' and the new company will become renown for its RESEARCH"! Unquote. (I suspect that a name change may be in the offing. But, he did not say that specifically). He said there would be shareholder's meetings in the future, but the priority right now is to get his research center staffed. He closed by thanking me for corresponding with him. He told me to ignore the post on the Internet that seem to seek to defame ADVR. They are speaking of the past. This is now! The new regime and the new company are NOW, not THEN! Doctor Hirschman does not want to see FAXES, or copies of these posts from the Internet. He said: "Once things that are happening, within the new company, are made public, then the Internet postings will not matter to Advanced Viral Research Corporation". This ended the conversation with Dr Hirschman. Note: Dr Hirschman took over the company the middle of October 1996. The above is printed with permission of the original author.
