How's this for a review? I think IE sucks and whenever I hear anyone complain about problems they're having with it, I suggest trying Netscape. When they do, they almost always stay with Netscape. Speaking of IE, I really don't like the way microsoft is forcing it on me in Win 98. Sure, I don't have to buy it. But then again, I also don't have to buy the monopoly OS that everyone writes applications for (until they're either acquired or have their air supply cut off). <<Perhaps you feel that any company should have the freedom to innovate and compete as long as it isn't Microsoft?>> That post about Intel and the operating system only reflects my sick and twisted fantasy of seeing some real OS competition and having a viable choice. It also reflects my belief that Intel recognizes its responsibilities as the dominant player in its industry and acts accordingly. I can't say the same for your employer. And please spare me Chairman Bill's party line about the freedom to innovate and compete. It's so hollow and self serving. Had there been any companies as predatory as microsoft when Bill was starting out, he probably would have been assimilated or eliminated. Have you read the lawsuit transcript? I guess DOJ and 20 states are just making all that stuff up, right? We'll see! M31
