Can't disagree with your position. For me to make a penny out of my YHOO short it would have to go back down to around 53 so I think your bet is a fair one. I think I may get a chance to cover at lower prices. Current market cap is above or around 6 billion dollars that is a lot of dove if you think about it. more or less the same argument applies to AOL no of of making money on the short but that is a sunk cost at the current market cap of about 50% of Gillettes I will hold down to my short position with IMO a good chance of covering at a lower price.

I am a bit more skeptical about your bet that they won't go under 100 and 70 respectively and IMO they remain as risky on the long as on the short side.
