Hi Bill C! You know, I have been pretty much thinking the exact same things. I think that improved communication COULD possibly have an effect on how we view each other and maybe just maybe it could help in achieving a more peaceful world. I mean, look at us. You're Canadian. I'm not. And yes, the U.S. and Canada have a history of being friends. But suppose, just suppose some sort of disagreement cropped up between our respective leaders. And just pretend for a minute that they wanted us to go to war. I don't know about you, but after "meeting" with and talking to and getting to know all the Canadians that are on board here....I would look at my leaders and say, "ARE YOU NUTS?" That's probably a dumb example, but who's to say that someday that dream of improving the chances for peace could not possibly someday come true? Let's see....suppose just suppose we could REGULARLY communicate with the Iraqi people, for example. I mean, I'm sorry, but right now I just have this image of the Iraqis and others from the Middle East that is not the most positive image in the world. But suppose I could get to KNOW them? Suppose they could get to know me? I'm not an American devil and either are any of the other Americans that I know. We're just people. Anyway, thanks for your thoughts. You touched on a dream that is truly dear to my heart. Thanks! Juanita
