Pharmaceutical company Icos Corp. (ICOS) soared 4 13/16 to 21 1/16
after published reports indicated its as yet unnamed impotency drug has fewer side effects than Pfizer's (PFE) Viagra. Pfizer fell 1 9/16 to 105 1/16.

Bill Gates owns 13% of ICOS. It seems fitting for a person who is known as Mr Microsoft. VBG

Dell Computer will soon become the latest in a swarm of companies offering business PCs with three-digit price tags, when it introduces its first sub-$1,000 PC for corporate users, powered by Intel's new Celeron chip.

When my company buys PCs, they get the next to the fastest CPU, 48MB to 128MB of RAM, a high quality 17" or 19" color monitor, a 4GB+ HD, ethernet card, CD ROM, and a sound card and speakers. I have no idea what they pay. Today I sat through a presentation where we had to wait several seconds between charts because the PC (166MHz, purchased last year) was too slow on the graphics. The boss was there. I'd be very surprised if they start buying the low cost PCs. <ggg>
