<Check out what Rude Dog had to say about Merced's delay>
John, if you do not understand what people are
talking about, please restrain yourself from
any remarks. "Rudedog" said approximately the
same I did, just from other perspective.

Once again:

* there is not much you can parallelize for
usual _interactive_ applications.

* Only few very special algorithms will benefit
from the explicit parallelizm. However, a
specialized vector processors/DSP will do
these jobs much more efficiently.

* With overwhelming number of registers,
the EPIC ISA will suck big in real-time
data processing and multitasking/time
sharing (do not be confused with "time
traveling").

Just MO.

<Merced is still alive, just got delayed!>
Maybe forever? Hehehe (tm Stockmoron)
