MSFT will trade between $80 and $160 on December 31 1999. I'll let someone else guess how many splits we'll see by then. PW.

Arnold -
MSFT gets revenue on both the original sale and the upgrade. I believe that OEMs pay about $20 for the upgrade so this is a 'promotional' offer to keep people from 'waiting' for Win98. CPQ did the same thing during the Win95 transition.
