Del:

A truly free marketplace would adjust to consumers needs faster than a politician to voters issues! If consumers became concerned enough about the pollution, their buying habits would change and industry would rapidly change to accommodate their new demands.

I point out that one of the most government-controlled societies on earth during this century -- the former Soviet Union -- is also one of the most polluted countries on earth.

Del, I don't believe "60 Minutes", "20/20", "48 Hours", "Hard Copy", "Inside Edition", "Dateline NBC", Peter Jennings and Dan Rather would allow the paper mills to pollute our rivers and streams today.

Corporations have no greater fear than seeing "60 Minutes" knocking on their door with cameras in tow.
