Thanks for the outstanding contribution Ausdauer! Nothing to add that would be of interest. I particularly liked the discussion over the use of the CF trademark. Many questions remain unanswered. The only thing I can say is that the CEO wants to grow this company and create a MASS-MARKET. He can't do this alone and the strategy is to disseminate some information free to allow other companies to enlarge the market and foster the tremedous reach of the technology. He knows SanDisk will benefit from this. IBM PCs were cloned and succeeded, Apple did not. However, for some reasons it did not hamper IBM to go into trouble lateron.
