As background for this agreement and to understand the financially healthy environment (as opposed to most of the far east electronics firms) in which the Taiwanese firm Winbond operates you might want to read "Silicon Valley East: Taiwan, almost alone in Asia, remains economically healthy." in the 6/1/98 edition of Forbes, pgs. 122-127. An interesting quote, and something that will hopefully influence the long term development for our Wave, "....The small island is the world's largest supplier of a laundry list of high-tech gear: computer monitors, modems, motherboards, keyboards, power supplies, scanners, pointing devices, desktop and notebook computers...."
