Perhaps you are right, considering the consumer driven economy and the credit bubble. "Borrow the max on your credit card and invest the cash in the stock market!" Or, "Borrow more than your house is worth and put the cash in the market!"

I got called yesterday by one of my credit card companies. They want to send me a check for the limit on my card, so I can "invest" the money. Of course I'll have to make more on my investment than the 18% I'll be paying them. Are people actually doing this? If so, how long can the credit bubble expand? What will end it?
