FT, If there is any liquid water at all below the surface of the moon, and I think there is, I find it highly improbable that it would remain sterile for millions of years. The evolution of life is simply a probability function, with the probability greatly increased by the presence of water. I think life will be found to be ubiquitous throughout the Universe. We will know within 20 years.
