If CPQ has no margin problems, why do they have no earning for the first two quarters of the year?

Low cost PCs not only has been a problem for CPQ but it's been a problem for the entire industry. Even MSFT won't be immune as pressure mounts on software pricing.

Why do you think Dell dropped more than 10 points after release? It wasn't normal profit taking, it was the 8% decline in ASPs. Sub-1ks won't be doing much to help those ASPs. I'm sure you read GTW's new program targeted consumers.

I'm afraid the party is over and Dell knows it.
