JustA,
I'm not gonna get into a peeing contest, but I would like to clarify my position as I think you may have misunderstood my intent.

I've seen too many times market orders placed before the bell and the MM's jump all over them and jack the price up on the open. This leads to early profit taking by short-termers and the price then plummets and the guy who bought at market then panics and sells.

Unless someone is committed to the long term I feel market orders are dangerous during runups.

I am open to rebuttal.... in good spirit,

Russ
