I noticed the same thing last Sunday where Bernie had to continually restate the facts. The scarry thing is that the vast majority rely on the media to give them the facts and on many stories, the only thing they know about it is what the media says. For example most folks don't have a clue about things we have learned on this board over the last 2 or 3 years so when they read or hear about some aerospace company named Loral or something giving away secrets to commies, gosh it must be true. I had been active in our town's civic affairs for several years and it always amazed evertime I read an article covering a meeting I was involved in to find myself wondering what meeting was that? Did I attend that? The problem with many local papers is that the reporters are typically the youngest and lowest paid employees. I was told this by a former publisher. The ad guys make all the bread. I am sad to see this type of incompetence has now crept into our national media. It has taken a long time and lots of work but, many of our respected media institutions have finally arrived at the level of the National Enquirer for which I am thankful because I got another 1000 at 25. Fortunetely truth ultimately prevails as it will in this case and my 25 will turn into 50+.
